This is the main part of the rear. Sanding this part is a pain.

The main rear looking, well, looking like something finaly.
The swing wing neede major modificaton, I drilled out the holes in the ply for the bearing to sit flush, then glued the housing from the bearing into these holes, easier said then done. In this picture the wings are NOT DRILLED OR MOUNTED yet...

Hers the intake, WITH a EDF 40H motor. NO way was I going to put a pusher prop! LOL, I know the performance and all, but man, this looks so cool!

Starting to look like something, Fuse all epoxied in, wings all in place with servo.
I used a DA to shape the nose! Only took about 10 minutes with the DA!

MORE POWER IS THE KEY

you are going to need to put 2x fiago brushless motors and li-pos in her if you want some performance.

www.b-p-p.com has that stuff.

So are you going to accept the fact that the wings dont fold back exactly to the same spot? Just a curious question not a bash. I found that on mine with one servo for the sweep wing would not put the wings in the exact same position, it did'nt change flight noticably but was weird looking to me so I went with two servos. anyhow you got a nice jet there cant wait to see it ducted!!! I want to fly everything!

I have to agree with Paul, you need to chuck those GWS motors and go brushless. Balsa products offers a hotter wind version. Medusa research has also just released their first 12mm motor.

I know its expensive but really worth it in this case. My F-16 Guillow's conversion went from barely flyable to a rocket with the Fiegao.

Dude if your trying to keep it brushed good luck with it flying. the two stock edf40's will only give you 6oz of thrust max. and I know from building one that you will be over 16oz when complete. so figure that one. Have fun and good luck! Take Care Chris
