Help Needed,building a PBR.

I'm new here. Hi.

Have the 1:12 scale plans for a PBR (Patrol Boat River ) I got them years ago. They are now 20% bigger. (thanks to Fed X). So the hull will be 38 1/2" x 13 3/4".

My question is what size motor (electric ) and what size pump would work best ? This will be a twin motor/jet pump boat.

Thanks, Randy

Hi Randy, welcome to the forum. So it appears that you are building a 1:10 scale MKII PBR..nice!
I would check out the KMB 28 drives and two Propdrive 35-36 1400KV outrunner motors..and consider the reverse option.. https://kehrer-modellbau.de/en/KMB-J...ulsion-drives/

KMB is a world class German company...there are a lot of other drives on ebay but who knows how good and how long they'll be around...Graupner would have been another choice-but they are going thru some hard times and have halted production...

Thanks.

I have 2 KMB 28 drives coming and 3 Propdrive 35-36 1400KV outrunner motors also.
Will start looking for a water cooled ESC and maybe a 6 channel radio.

I am very happy with the turnigy 70 amp marine ESCs although you probably could get away with the 50 amp units-must check the motor specs...the motors I am using are no longer made...

You also will need the motor adapters seen in the video (30mm to 25mm bolt holes)
