which is used to pull the front motor. High-precision 4.3g digital steering gear to control the aircraft's control surface

3. The aircraft adopts 6-axis gyroscope with air pressure and high altitude, 3D/6G mode conversion, suitable for different scenes,
and is more suitable for beginners to practice flying.

4. The aircraft can take off and land vertically, vertical landing, air mode conversion,
and also has a combination of beginner mode and aerobatic mode, effectively solving the problem of small flying space,
unable to take off, and beginners do not have the ability to take off the plane to take off, can not take off smoothly, etc.

5. Multiple Flight Modes
1) Multi-rotor mode Multirotor flight (four-axis), the aircraft can fly vertically like a quadcopter and helicopter.
Hover flight and forward and backward, left and right side fly and spin flight, and a one-button take-off / one-button landing function.
2) Vereticl flight vertical crane mode, aircraft air-to-air conversion mode, set up by the horizontal flight mode,
can fly vertically like the X520 and quadcopters and helicopters, hover flight, forward and backward, left and right side and spin flight.
3) 6G plane flight mode, the aircraft is flat and take off vertically, one-key conversion level flight into 6G fixed height self-stabilization mode,
realize vertical flight to horizontal flight seamless docking, gyroscope self-stabilization, heading lock, very suitable for beginners Fixed-wing mode practice flight.
4) Outdoor stunt mode, after the aircraft is converted to the air level, the switch switches the 3D position,
the aircraft enters the 3D stunt mode (3D lock mode), and easily makes the tendons roll the death spiral and other stunts

6. High capacity large rate 11.1V lithium polymer battery, flight time of 13 minutes or more

We'll see how this one turns out. Flight time sounds nice, let's hope it's not the usual "let's take the actual flight time, multiply by 2, and put that in the specs" antics.

As with everything m8, read the specs and when you've finished laughing make sure the battery is fully charged and go for it lol.

I doubt 15 minutes is anywhere near the abilities of the stock battery, maybe a larger battery as the bay is big enough to take something with more mah. I will of course be happy to test this to destruction .

It's not impossible though, I've just seen a video about the Eachine E119 flybarless heli, and it can fly over 10 minutes on stock battery. But indeed the proof will be in the eating.

Speaking of eating, it hovers well enough but 'shut down' takes a little getting used too as can be evidenced by the bedroom wall as the 'thing' decided to try and eat part of it. No real damage done aside from a chipped blade and a squidgy feeling in the boxer short department. Luckily the props are approx 4 inch and you get 2 spare props so once I've destroyed the stock ones I have a large variety of 2,3 and 4 bladed ones that will suffice as replacements.
Must say, quite a different feeling watching a 'plane' prop hang vertically in the bedroom, somehow scarier than a quad ( hovered a Mavic without blinking an eye)

Once I get used to the emergency shutdown it will be a lot of fun but I do wish that start/stop was on a switch simply because it is what most of us are used to.

As far as I know, the XK version of this one was pretty good, so assuming they are getting good at 'cloning' this one should perform pretty good too

There seems to be a GPS bay underneath (one of this underside square panels is removable) and there are some headers on the FC which suggests there may be a 'Pro' model with basic RTH functions. So far though it seems to work as it should.

Should a GPS not be mounted on top, to get better "view" of the sats?

Don't think it really matters with foam, the GPS on my DartXL is within the foam body and functions perfectly.

Could be that it only applies to CF and metal parts, and that foam doesn't limit GPS signals.

It hasnt hindered mine, nor has it with my GPS quads that have the GPS unit within a hard plastic shell ( in the sg906 it is under 2 layers of 1.5mm plastic casing )

I would suggest as you said "avoid carbon and metal"

An opportunity was missed maybe ............ if they had used a 3D reversible prop ( like on the XK 250 quadcopter that can hover/fly inverted ) on the rear motor and used a servo to rotate the motor down, it would have provided extra thrust when in 'Plane' flight mode.

Thanks Bill , In Plane mode it is a Delta so coordinated turns are the method to turn especially sharp turns as the nose will always drop due to the shape of the wing. This is exaggerated in this model because the two props and battery are located forwards so when in a turn and the nose naturally drops the added weight/thrust of the motors and props makes the nose in stronger. This nose drop in turns is also evidenced in the standard Delta/Chevron type flying wings . After a while your brain naturally rectifies this type of flight.

Hi, thank you Yes, makes sense, just have to get used to this craft.

Yeah, you would think that they would have mixed a little more elevator or some differential thrust when the FC realizes that your making a sharp banked turn but I suppose that it would take some advanced AI to decide whether the move was intended.
For me it raises the purpose of the barometer, or at least its usefulness in plane mode because unless you zero the throttle or emergency disarm the plane should surely activate the throttle/servos to avoid contact with the ground.
With that said, flying wings and deltas can be quirky simply because of their shape and they can be EXTREMELY lol sensitive in pitch, this is another reason why I think that they would be better using a reversible 3D prop at the rear, with all that weight forward of the CG there will be times when you want to push the rear down to keep the nose up.
It's all a learning curve though, Im sure at some point mine will be introduced to mother earth unexpectedly
