Oh those... Yeah they are alright, but not particularly fast i can tell you that. + standard nimh pack is mediocre on runtime & power.

fitment of parts is terrible as well so it might have trouble actually running any faster then a toy grade rc car.

Another common thing is that they strip the wheel hexes inside the rims & spare parts are a bit of a hit & miss sometimes.

If you got the budget for it id look into perhaps getting a carisma gt24r rally car instead.

They aren't in stock in sweden yet but you can buy them online.
subaru impreza

hyundai i20 wrc

These can run on 7.2v nimh (which is included.) or on 2s lipo batteries and should run pretty quick out of the box.

In terms of upgrades it doesn't really need any beyond perhaps oil shocks & any parts too convert them too the older monstertruck, truggy, buggy if you'd like too run them on a bit better jumps or offroad.

not much running videos of these newer ones yet but plenty of the previous gt24 cars which came with a 1s lipo or could run a 2s lipo & had a 12000 kv motor as an upgrade part (not sure if these new ones can handle the 12000 kv motor here, you'd have too check with the support from carisma.)

oh yeah there is also these kits that don't come with a charger or battery (again only 7.2v nimh or 2s lipo.)

Xmas gift

Thanks for the help, i know HSP is pretty crappy but they are quite big in sweden so maybe there is parts. In europe they often go under the "Right" branding, so i wonder if they done improvements?
Mini z is the best micro car, as doctor given me diagnose of slower react time i love their remote with training mode, pity that mini z are quite expensive for its size.
I have two WLtoys a595 buggys, they work fine and plenty of speed, however im no big fan of the cheap esc rx combo, do you know if there is any better combo that fit?

2 years back I had a GT24Truggy. I was very satisfied. Bought it used on eBay. Oil shocks have been installed already. So I cant tell if they are necessary.

As far as I know you can run it on 1s, or 2s. Mine was pretty fast on 2s. And a little rubber cube was included to slide it on the trigger. That reduces the travel of the trigger, which reduces the speed. Maybe this is what you need as a kind of training mode? (Actually I dont know what this training mode is exactly.)

EDIT: As far as I know the newer version got some improved electronics. And I think the oil shocks are from another brand, not as expensive as the carisma oil shocks. I am pretty sure you will find more informations in the gt24 thread.
Here is the thread:

Or go to the official Carisma homepage.

Pretty good car in my opinion with much better quality than the usual cars sold on banggood!
