Fair points, its a short term solution until I find one like the HF version. I'll test it at the house and go from there, like I said all I want it for is to attach the wings the the fuse.

Hi to all of you guys, I have tried the body shop contraption and I was never happy with,so after some other solutions I found out that the Stanley work horses are the best, the holdup the maximum weight up to 200 lbs per horse they very stable they will work with all jet sizes and they fit every small place + they can be converted to table just provide the plywood top , so just go tho your friendly ACE hardware store and get two sometimes they for $20 for set and buy the narrower one they open better and get some isolation pipe noodle to install on top to protect your jet .

No complaints, very heavy base, wider than it looks. Some heavy round foam over the bars and BVM velcro to hold it in place, it will do what I need it to do for now. Yes, not perfect but it will hold a 17lb jet all day long with no issues. For $30, good quality, sturdy and they used a heavy metal its fine.
As mentioned its only used for either storage or installing or removing wings. |

I have a couple of these. They work great on our assembly tables or picnic table.

These are all ... bad ideas long term you will get bowed in fuselages as well as other issues.
Cradle is the only way to go. Good for assembly and the same unit can be used to transport planes. Safe and will not get damaged or get tossed around. Plus easy to bring where you need to and you can put wings on/off without much fuss. |

Don't know what you guys are talking about but the Harbor Freight stand (which I use) is still available. $20.00 plus tax for 200 lbs support...
