British Sailplanes

Just received my copy of " Gliding and Soaring in Britain" by Arthur W.J.G. OrdHume. Stenlake Publishing Ltd

ISBN: 978-1-84033-835-5

Much of the first 100 pages are info/pics in various other books. Martin Simon, on-line, etc.

However, to my pleasant surprise, the following 200+ pages are new to me: info, stories, text, photos.

Add this to my previous thread of 20+ scale reference books that make a great library of documentation for building

Worth the cost!!!!

Requested info

I've been a member of the BGA for many years and I often buy books mentioned in it. I ordered my directly from Stenlake.

The review in VGC news was not very complimentary. However I found a lot of new to me information. Many of the early pics are grainy but if there are no better available, at least we have them.
