motor placement

I was wondering if it would effect the flight characteristics if I lowered the thrust line and extended the motor . converting a Sr. Falcon
thinking about lowering about 1/2 inch and moving motor forward about the same.

If it flies, I can crash it.

Moving the motor forward a 1/2" isn't going to make a difference to anything except CG. Moving it down a 1/2" probably doesn't matter any either. As long as the direction of the thrust line doesn't change, it's just another one of a number of up/down asymmetries in the airframe.
