NEW Mini Funtana Alum Landing Gear

NEW Mini Funtana Alum Landing Gear $15 each $4 shipping - 16 - 18 grams (aircraft aluminum - is 6061 T6)

Here's a nice set of NEW landing gear for your mini funtana. The holes are pre drilled so you'll have them on in no time. This gear gives you 1.5" clearance with a 12x6 prop. These will accommodate a little flex on landing unlike the factory carbon fiber gear, which allows a gentler landing and better traction as it absorbs imperfections in the runway rather than bouncing off of them. The outsides of the legs are polished, and the legs are tapered. Don't pay $18 plus shipping for the hard to get fragile carbon fiber ones. These are the same width as factory, but 5/8" taller. Height 4 1/4, Width 8" - and guess what they're made of "aircraft" aluminum.

UPDATE - the landing gear I make are the same height as the newer mini funtana landing gear coming with the new kits currently. I cannot attest to the strength of the newer ones, but I know the originals were pretty brittle. Here is an older picture - remember the current ones are now being polished on the outsides of the legs. I take pay pal or money orders, please contact me directly if you'd like a set(s).

Major smackdown,

Is the 4 1/4" height of your gear from the top to the axles, or overall height?

I am intersted in getting a set to fly off of grass, but I don't know if I already have the newer carbon ones or not. So far they seem faily tough, but I only have two flights.

it's been a while since I measured, but I believe it was 4 1/4 from the bottom the gear to the bottom of the fuse, if you're within 3/16 of an inch you probably have the newer ones - the older ones were 5/8 shorter - big difference.
