Now This is Interesting!!

Nurk FPV put out a video a few days ago showing some drone racing footage using a drone with rocket boosters attached and it looks sick! Now it may really be more gimmick and marketing than anything else, but the video footage appears like it may actually work and provide some extra speed.

Adding model rockets to RC aircraft is not new as there has been rocket boosted planes out for many years. This is the first time I've seen it on a racing drone though and it opens up some interesting possibilities like giving racers extra speed boosts they can strategically use during a race. It's kind of like a video game power up. What do you guys think? Is this something we'll see more of in the future?

FAA /Media bait. Probably ok since it's been done with fixed wing.

Electric Multirotors don't need rockets, as they already shoot up like rockets, even faster... no need to add old tech to it.
