Trumps self interest absolutely should play a role in his policies. Every president tries to incorporate his own ideas that make himself and other Americans prosper.

Total BS, no president is supposed to base international policy towards self enrichment. Are you now trying to re interpret the Constitution?

Where in the constitution does it say the president should not benefit from his policies like the rest of Americans? Is Obama guilty for making the economy better and benefiting his retirement account ?
It should be illegal for a president to have policies that do not benefit himself with the rest of the country.

I found " Bribery "in the Constitution.....have you read that part?..... Bribery was understood as an officeholder’s abuse of the power of an office to obtain a private benefit rather than for the public interest. This definition not only encompasses Trump’s conduct—it practically defines it...

Their whole strategy all along is the attempt to dirty the reputation on a great man and since there is no evidence to support this they will continue to go the low road and leak false and negative bits a pieces, aided by their willing accomplices in the media and hope that's enough to swing the vote their way.

It will probably work as many Americans don't research these things past what they hear on the mainstream media.

You are obviously ignorant of the Constitution.

Sure it is... there is little difference between attempting an illegal act and having success at it. Trump came very close to getting his wish for a public statement on investigations. Reportedly the security funds were released a couple of days after knowledge of the whistle blower complaint surfaced and only two days before a scheduled CNN interview where Zelensky planned to make the public statements.

There was reason why the IG called the complaint urgent, because if the funds had not been released by the end of September, they would have expired.

Of course not, but few are in president Trump's position to shape American foreign policy around those investments.
