Wow...well done very cool model sub!

Does anyone know if the split rudder is unique to this model ? If you watch between 3:58-4:28 minute points its quite notable that the sub turns very well without any rudder extension and looks period scale-the rudder is a little like a nozzle on a tugboat...well done!

I thought so !-thanks Tom...I was told that it was a scratch build and just had an Engel cradle. I guess "...and believe none of what you hear..."should have applied. Still an impressive turn radius.

If I remember correctly and that is a BIG if, the Engel Nautilus needed a lot of work in the “old” days. Such as none of the rivets below waterline. I believe there have been some big updates.
