The AMA EXPO is less than 2 weeks away, as it is Nov. 1-2-3.

Will Expo West 2019 be effected by the wild fires?

Not directly, too far away. Saddleridge fire is mostly contained... any smoke left in the San Gabriel valley? I dunno, the air is clear, brisk and delightful where I am!

As of RIGHT NOW, I don't see any issues. But, this week, and the winds/fire danger, are not over yet.

But remember: the West Bound 60 FWY will be closed AGAIN this weekend!

This should not affect most, as the LA County Fairgrounds are usually accessed off the 10 FWY. But I just thought I would remind everyone.

THANKS!!! to all the firefighters, it looks like we will be able to enjoy the AMA Show as planned.

The fire on the 57 FWY had me concerned, but LA & OC Fire Departments got that handled. A big Thank You!
As that is how most of us in the OC area, will get to 10, and the show.

Just noticed... no mention of the AMA Expo in Special Events, at the top of the main forums page. Does RCG not get involved out West?

I was doing this mid day, so I had to dodge the foot traffic. Hopefully, others will get more / better photo's.

Here's my photo dump. Just to get this out of the way, yes it was an AMA event and there were wingy things there. Some of these were in booths, some in the model competition.
