Plans or shortkit now please!

I just noticed Jürgen Schönle's youtube videos a few days ago. I love the corsair but the p-47 is really fantastic. I want more "fattystaffle"!

Great looking plane!

Would there be any chance of talking Daniel into creating a post showing how he created his fatty Horten HO 229?

Chris, can you give us more info on how you do the vac forming of foam? Temps or amount of drop, etc. Any tips will be appreciated. Or, do you have all that in another thread or place on the web?

Mike, you may have already seen these earlier posts by Juergen S.

Do you think you can work out a setup for vacuum forming with samples of the 1/8" MPF?

Jeff, thanks for the links, I dont recall them but will study them. I was thinking about vac forming regular MPF, but still have a dozen sheets of the 1/8 foam. I also revisited my crude vac form "box", this time using a wood frame to hold the plastic, and had pretty good success on some cowls so will have to play with the foam. Have to either print or carve some molds, though. The cowl forms are 2-3" tall, perhaps a bit much for foam?

Believe the 1/8 scale Horten IX was scale. Not a 'fatty'

That Horten IX is definitely a "Fatty", and I love it! I would like to build one, as the Ho IX is one of my favorite planes.
