Using manufacturer's default configuration and the recommended FPV gear, it is 100% under 250 grams.
To the untrained eye, she will look like a harmless toy but, -we and you know- this is a super capable FPV ship that will even let you do long range like the bigger sisters. Being so light, it’s a blessing for beginners since they will find that is really hard to break it. Also, coupled with NEW Kopilot Lite and the VC400 camera, you will get a ready to go FPV system, solder and hassle free.
Now you can enjoy more than 30 minutes FPV action (with a 18650 2S1P 3500mAh) or a super thrilling proximity mission (on 3S setup), everything under 250 grams. Since the wingspan is only 570mm, you don’t even need to think about the portability, this thing is bicycle-ready!
Forget about those sketchy DIY projects, and spend your time flying a fantastic wing that will perform like a much bigger plane, without the worries of being pointed as a criminal.

I'm guessing an updated mini Dart with 600-700mm wingspan on 4S for acro flights.

This one is 570mm and uses a 2 or 3S setup. I doubt it would take much to upgrade to 4S and create a small FPV Acro version or something for close proximity racing. I am pushing them for more video and more information regarding using more standard Betaflight/Inav components.

Remains to be seen how heavy it REALLY is. As China is known to lie about this over and again. To my eye it looks a little busy with extraneous stuff that only adds unnecessary weight and drag. 9g servos is definitely overkill and heavy!

Keep in mind it is competing against the Nanogoblin which comes in more like 225g with a basic FPV system and lipo, and 245g with full on inav, gps, Runcam Split and 3500mah 2S pack on her.

But .. the price seems right. And I am delighted to see a more direct competitor to the expensive but ingeniously engineered Nanogoblin that RMRC refuses to restock!

The kit version might be the better choice for someone wanting to stay under 250g with all the features, put on 5g servos, a 1407 3500kv motor, 4.1 apc prop, opto ESC and an F411w w HGLRC gps, Crossfire mini, some 800mW vtx, 20amp 3500 li ion cells 2S pack, foxeer predator ... and perhaps an Insta360Go!

The nano goblin is also a strix product meaning its expensive and nearly impossible to actually buy becuase it'll be sold out until dinosaurs re-populate the Earth.

This definitely seems like a great alternative even if it makes some tradeoffs.

It will be interesting to see what its actual dry weight is. To get an idea of the margin we have for equipment, while still keeping it sub250g.

Would an 1806 motor be suitable for this? I'm not worried about the <250g weight limit.

What would be efficient cruising speed ? I love my z-84 but it gets a little boring at 40-45 km/h. I could transplant everything, maybe apart from f405 wing ( f411 wing instead ) and 9g servos ( 5g should do ). And smaller motor. 2205 2300kv now in z-84 spinning 6x4,5 prop, 3S1P lg gh2 3500mah. Price looks right. [emoji106]

They do seem a little cagey about the actual weight. I'm curious too.
