Chinese Brushless Power is here

The HiMax - Tornado etc Hacker clones from China have been on sale for a while. Looks like the controllers from China have finally landed as well.

Has anyone tried it yet? Looks as though us Brits can get a potent brushless package with a propeller for under 100.
Why would anyone go with brushed motors now?

John

Hall,
Those are little cd rom type motors. The motors John is looking at are 600 to 700 size. jim

What makes you think this controller is Chinese? I don't see anything about China.

There ARE the Align controllers that are Chinese, but the one in that link looks like the EFlite controller with a different label on it. Also Schulze attaches the female bullets to the board on their Future connnectors. Could THEY be doing the OEM thing?

gkamysz: I think they are from China because the Himax motors are sold under the Tornado badge in the UK. Since this controller is labelled Tornado I assume that they are connected and hence from the same country.

If anyone has tried this controller I would be very interested in their opinion of it.

Interesting deduction. In America we have BMW X5's which are exported to Germany because they are produced in the US.
