Very impressive. It looks like it flies OK too. Granted they probably don't want to do aerobatics with it.

On a much more modest scale but using the same sort of drone motor and props is my 60" Depron Airbus A350.

Description:
It also has 3D printed motor mounts which in my case includes the wing pylon.

It also uses many other 3D printed parts including the fuselage formers.

Description:
No undercarriage so its a hand launch and belly land which is not so difficult as it is very light at 20 oz and uses a tiny 1000 mAh 4s.
A rather limited video but it does fly well enough.
Depron A350 - 900 (1 min 7 sec)

Now 2 years old I actually flew it today.

Thanks for posting you model. Too bad there are no kits. Wouldn’t mine building that A-350.
I wish Eflite would re-release their 777

Changed the name so we can talk about all multi-motor airplanes.

I have wanted to convert a sport airplane for some time. Any Ideas of what to start out with.

Maybe buy 2 P-51's and make a P-82? Or maybe something that never existed but would look cool.

A profile P-38 should be easy.

Nice. How's the weight.

I have seen others try to make 3D printed stuff but it always comes out on the heavy side (poor strength to weight ratio). It probably depends on how good your CAD skills are and how good your printer is.

It very light and flies pretty slow. 1 kg auw with a 3S 1300 lipo. 0,3 mm walls, and minimal internal structure is possible because of the round shape and small size.

I would like to build one much bigger and more complex later on.

I didn't notice that I had transposed the numbers. It's fixed

One of my favorite WWII bombers is the B-26. I built one when I was a teenager. They are excellent flying airplanes and a little less complicated than the B-25.
