WATTS UP Electric Fly-In Tucson, AZ March 28-29 2020

Hello All,
I have taken over being the Contest Director of the WATTS Up Electric Fly-In. This event has been held in years past, but we have lack the CD over the last year or two. I am happy to have picked up this event.

We have a wonderful flying site. Newest Asphalt Runway with plenty of run off. Electricity to charge batteries. Plenty of cover space to get out of the sun.

Entry Fee will be $20 for the whole weekend.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

I am sure I will be there. It's just a question of what toys I'll be bringing!

Speaking of camping:
We do allow camping. If you want to arrive on Friday, please let us know so we can be sure to get the gate unlock. We do ask to not use the power avail for charging to power your motorhome / camper as we do not want to overload anything.

Night Flying is allowed all night as long as it is electric.

We don't have running water, but we do have two portable bathrooms. There is also a gas station walking distance down the road.

That's where I'm staying. Bonus for me, I have enough points for a free room.

Thanks for the note on the camping. I plan on arriving on the Friday, probably around noon if that is OK to have the gate open. I’ll confirm it later.
