Be careful buying from banggood

Had a drone arrive not working offered a partial refund etc. They said to ship it back and never gave me the address to ship it back. If anything is wrong with your item doesn't work. Its a nightmare to get a refund etc. They will ignore you for days.

Yup. I won't buy anything expensive from them because it's such a hassle to get things fixed if there is a problem. I do buy stuff from them and for the most part I have not had problems but when I did it was a royal pain and I have heard it's gotten worse. I also try to avoid ordering from their China warehouse. When they have it in the US warehouse, it comes promptly - when from China you forget that you ordered it by the time it comes.

RDQ FTW!! Bang-Bad Terrible company to deal with

I've heard of people buying things there for years now I decided to try ordering from them. Ordered Some antennas and Props for a try..

They didn't ship anything for 2 weeks or notify me in any way so I contacted them they couldnt be bothered so I canceled order. Took 25 days for a refund.

NICE work bangood🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Friends dont let friends go to bangood.

Order the next day from race day quads and received my order all the way out in Hawaii in 3 business days.

If it's something cheap you'll probably be okay. Sometimes they are the only place that carries certain stuff. To their credit after my paypal claim. I finally have an address to return it to. And hopefully get a refund.

just never buy anything over 50$. and always use paypal.

I just got some decent batteries from BG. came in 10 days, no fuss no muss. any issues ive ever had over the 100+ orders ive placed, they have handled, after jumping thru a few hoops.

I've bought a few items from BG, and they've been OK, but when I bought a '1080 HD' DVR which turned out to be only 360p they offered the usual 'partial refund' (A 10% discount on my next purchase <$50), threatening to raise a PayPal dispute achieved the desired result.
I'll probably buy from them again, but with the usual caution when buying from most of those larger foreign online stores.

Overall I can't really complain about Banggood. Been buying stuff from them over the past years (from parts to planes/quads) and never had much to complain about. Negociating with them can be kinda hard because of the time difference and what seems to be a language barrier, but in the end they always came thru for me. Shipping times can vary enormously: for some orders I had to wait over a month to arrive, but for instance my last one (a bag for a quad) arrived in a week while I always go for the cheapest shipping method. And always use Paypal to be on the safe side.

You have to remember with Banggood that they are NOT a specialist RC vendor. They are selling an enormous range of products, with RC a tiny part of it, and they are relying on their suppliers for accurate descriptions of the products and for packaging that is suitable for international shipping. They do have one or two staff with a fair understanding of the RC world, but it's unlikely you'll be able to have a dialogue with them, as they are very busy. Their average rep won't have any idea, although I think they do genuinely try to please customers, and if you think you are being ripped off it's usually through ignorance, not malice.

However, they often have very interesting products at good prices, but you must do your research, and be prepared to engage in a polite dialogue with them if something goes wrong, to get the best possible outcome for yourself.

RESEARCH! One of the best places to do it is right here on rcgroups. Look here and on Youtube to see if anyone has discussed or reviewed the product you are considering buying.

Unfortunately the reviews on the actual item page on BG can't be relied upon, as I know from personal experience they will often suppress negative reviews.

If you do get into a dispute with them, you will get the best outcome if you remain polite but persistent.

I have placed over 400 orders with them from as early as 2013, and they have exceeded my expectations far more often than they have disappointed me. However, I have been very careful, especially with expensive and/or complex items.

I just ordered a Tyro129 and Eachine red devil v2 from banggood US warehouse. I got them in reasonable time and they are in good condition. I ordered a small action camera SQ11 from china warehouse and it arrived banged up and the 1080p function doesn't work. All I could get out of them is 500 'complimentary' BG points.

Thanks BG...

Their packaging sucks for the most part and things do get damaged. Can't beat many of their prices though so it's worth it to take a chance on cheaper items. I too have about a $50 limit.

I ordered a Eachine EV200 goggle battery on July 16 & am still waiting for it...
I did order 2 other things at the same time and they both showed up already.. I emailed a complaint inquiring where the battery is, They said I should wait another couple of weeks. And, if it hasn't shown up by then, I should wait some more.. LOL LOL LOL

I'm also waiting for a pair of wireless earbud headphones from GearBest. It's been fun wondering which will show up first.

If you buy from banggood just realize if the item doesn't work. They will agree to have you send the item back. They then send you a random address in China. Which is really hard for the people at the post office to input. Has like a bunch of random s*it you don't need ,part of it in Chinese. ..No labels like province, city etc. So you really can't even send it back. The cheapest option has 50/50 chance of making it to China according to the lady that worked the register. I may just end it back that way and hope it gets there 38 bucks. I may get refund for that from paypl... Granted if they make a small mistake on the address it won't make it. My 99 dollar trashcan drone cost 120 to send to China. SO do the math. And that's a small package. So if it works great. They can send you non working products and you can't do anything about it. Cause to ship it back will cost more than the item. Send it through the regular post office good chance it will get lost. Especially, with the paragraph long address they give you. I would def. not buy any high dollar item from banggood. I think I am out a 100 bucks. Won't buy from them again. In less, its something pretty cheap. That they are good for. Still really sneaky they wouldn't accept partial refund. Think about it why would some one in that position bother making sure something works... Some companies, can change their names. Not saying Banggood will but you get the idea.
