Nobler Maiden

This week the weather co-operated and the planets aligned just right and I was finally able to maiden a brand new Nobler ARF build. Actually, I had a C/L experienced buddy do the maiden. We don't have a dedicated circle. But we do have crossed paved runways. So we used that intersection for takeoffs and landings. It worked out good. The Nobler has been a real learning experience for me. I have zero real experience with C/L. Next was my turn. My flight went beautifully, very stable yet responsive, predictable and comfortable, almost hypnotic. I had a grin on my face the rest of the evening.

This Nobler ARF build worked great together:
50.5" wing, 12-14oz/ft2 loading
Motor: Dynum - Detrum BM3720-650, 630w, 42/55 amp esc, 3-4s
Prop: 9x7.5 - 12x7 (11x7x3 installed)
ESC: ZLD 65 amp, 2-6s
Throttle: Hobbyking 2.4ghz surface Tx/Rx
Battery: 3-4s, 1600 mah (maidened with 3s and had plenty of power for that)
Lines: .015 60', Sullivan handle,
