H-King TL2000 EPO RC Plane 1160mm (45.7") (PnF) w/Floats

This looks interesting, wheels and floats!

H-King TL2000 EPO 1160mm - HobbyKing Super Daily (2 min 33 sec)

The H-King TL2000 EPO RC Plane (PnF) is a fun plane to fly and has both wheels and floats so you can fly off land and water. The wingspan is 1160mm so it can easily fit in your car for transport to your favorite flying areas. It is built of tough EPO foam.

The TL2000 is a single-engine, two-seat ultralight which was designed in the Czech Republic. It first flew in 1997. It is a low wing monoplane with a large bubble canopy for excellent visibility.

The H-King TL2000 comes with motor, ESC and servos pre-fitted to make assembly easy and very quick (approx. 10-minutes). All you need to supply is a battery and Radio system (TX/RX).

The powerful 2838-1500KV motor combined with a 3-blade prop has lots of power to do exciting aerobatics like loops and rolls. The model comes with a set of floats to make it even more fun to fly off water when you have had enough of taking off from land.

The H-King TL2000 is a get deal and comes at the best price. Get out and get flying.

Features:
• Lightweight EPO foam fully molded with scale detail
• Detail cockpit including an instrument panel and factory-applied decals
• Quick 10-minute build time

What's with the civilian plane craze at HK?...

To those whose boat it floats, OK. But to me.., geeze, snore....

At least it is not a warbird for change.

Always good to see something a little different and it is a compact size to fit in the car with wings on!

@OP Andy This looks interesting, wheels, floats and flaps!

Where's the indication that this model has flaps ? I don't see any indication of flappage. Looks good though.

Good point! Now I realise that it is a typo from Hobby King, and should read floats, not flaps.

Oh well, I was looking forward to flaps!

It looks like it has full-span ailerons so flaperons are definitely an option.

I will be floating it from my boat as soon as it gets here. Wheels too small. Only buying because of floats.
Also see if it can handle 4s.
No indication of flight time on 1300 3s anywhere?

Flaps are always fun, particularly for slow flying but at this plane's weight I'm sure it won't need them. I've ordered one and it'll be interesting to see how it likes the water. I've tried various flap settings and CG changes but I've found with my Tundra that 4S is handy to get it off the water if it's too calm.

Just got the new HK Cessna TTX. Might consider this one too because of the floats. Nice to see HK going with some of the more unique scale planes out there.

Where to put rx

Not much room.
Will work it out and maiden tomorrow.
Prop need a little balancing. The screws in the wings didn't line up perfectly but went in OK.
Plane looks good but the cockpit should have been used for battery and rx instead of underneath. I would maybe not have bought it if I had seen that. Maybe ..it's hard on the boat to turn the plane over every time to take battery out. And no bloody room for the S6R.
