When i did my small one it was easy to do retracts. Tkake a look at my thread ,might help give you ideas.
I have a dynamax fan so if we do this i could work that version.
Looking forward to see what you come up with Bob.

Rodger,

What would be the possibility of laying up a belly pan at St George this week? This is the only piece Bob is missing to build his. It would need about a 26" x 26" piece of cloth.

Could you measure with calipers how thick the fuse is at the front of the hatch on the fuse bob has. 26"×26" is pretty big . Got to see if i have enough cloth on hand of the right thickness.
Do you have a plug to vacuum form canopies with?

I have some pulled canopies that I'll bring with me, but I don't think we have the plug for it. I'll ask Bob to measure thickness of the fuse. I have some cloth that I will bring just in case it will work.

We could use one of the canopies to make a plug.

Brent, we'll talk this week.

I just bought a Hasegawa 1/48 kit from Amazon to help with some scale details.

Here's something useful or you guys. Swedish air force decals: https://hobbyking.com/en_us/scale-na...et-sweden.html

They have other air force decals as well. I ordered a bunch of different ones and received them yesterday. The swedish roundels are 73 mm and 88 mm in diameter

Bob's fuse is .030 thick....so i was trying to match thickness. Thats the only cloth i had on hand, before we left. I weighed a 36" by 38" piece and it weighed 9.7 oz.
I wont use this cloth for the fuse layup's it is way too tightly woven and heavy.
