Question

CellPro Multi4

I purchased this charger from FMA (July sale). I had to wait to get the charge board adapter. I finally turned it on last night - with great expectations… Well not so great! The display said, “Supply >16 Volts Push to Reset”. Yes the manual says use only 10 to 16 volts. I checked the listed output on my transformer and it said 14.5 volts. I then measured actual output with a volt meter and it was showed 14.2 Volts. I then checked a few batteries to see if my Volt meter could be off. No, volt meter was accurate. Of course this happened on a Friday night and I can’t reach FMA until Monday. And tomorrows weather forecast is great. So the question is: Is this an anomaly? Did I just get a bad item? Regis

Try connecting it to your 12v car battery w/o the car running.
