Monterey clipper salmon troller

Iím currently building my 42Ē monterey hull built by Bob Herrera. It will be built to spec from the Drew. It was my dads monterey that I grew up fishing on. I started a few years ago and put it away. Iím going to be starting all over.

So far I started building a new cabin modifying it a little from the plans to match the real boat.
Some pics are or the original cabin I built and a pic of the new cabin start and the boat

Well I was able to get some time in today working on the boat. I got a lot of work done on the new cabin. And I got most of the rear trolling pit done. I still need to work on the inside of the cabin.

The boat was built in 1938. It was in excellent condition. Just before my dad bought it the previous owner had just completed a keel up complete documented restoration. Hull was nice and tight didn’t leak a drop.
