Eachine Tyro109 DIY 5 Inch Kit Build

Let the new build begin. I hear the Eachine Tyro machines are a pretty good value in a 5 inch kit, so figured I'd build one and see for myself.

They spec out fairly nicely, and at the Tyro109's current price of $109 in the USA warehouse if it performs half decent it'll be hard to beat for a budget 5 inch quad.

Package Includes:
1 x 210mm frame kit
2 x 2206 2400KV brushless motor CW
2 x 2206 2400KV brushless motor CCW
1 x 4 IN 1 30A BLHeli_S ESC
1 x Customized F4 flight controller
1 x Caddx Turbo Eos2 1200tvl
1 x XF5804 5.8G 40CH 0mw/25mw/200mw/600mw switchable VTX
2 x Battery strap
1x Antenna
2x 5040 four-blade propeller CW
2 x 5040 four-blade propeller CCW

Will post updates as the build progresses.

Made some progress today. Frame went together perfectly.

Build is complete. Flight video coming soon.

my futaba receiver wont fit in for s-bus and I have to solder the board somewhere for s-bus and one of the motors spins really slowly when connected to betaflight and I have to rewire a power lead too so as to avoid destroying the camera. this is my first mini racing drone and I dont know what to do other than order a micro futaba s-bus receiver and see if someone might be able to help me out. its built but I haven't plugged the camera in yet (to avoid damage) and Ive wired in the vtx with antenna added (to avoid vtx damage) I sure could use some help if yourve gpt any suggestions... help me please

Welcome to RCG. I'll be happy to help you with anything I can. Wiring up a receiver for sbus is very easy. The wire harness that is included in the kit plugs into the FC for power and ground then you just need to solder the signal wire to the sbus pad on the FC, and solder the other end of the wires to the corresponding pads on your receiver.
