1. Well then you lose that bet. But it wasn’t a bad assumption, because 99% of Americans are polartards, and have a party-aligned fact-immune view on every issue. That’s the entire problem with the USA these days.

2. Your “fact” is in fact not a fact. Obama “suggested he resign” and he chose to. The reason I was not OK with this is that in Obama’s position, it is impossible to make such a “suggestion” without inherently implying a threat. That is an abuse of position, IMHO. But he didn’t “fire” the guy. He didn’t say you are “hereby ordered” to resign, because he had a couple brain cells that told him that would be bizarrely off-target and delusional.

3. Do you really see a comparable magnitude between 1 company changing 1 officer, versus the suggestion that every large business in the entire country has to fundamentally rework their business plan based on a whim in a Presidential tweet? The level of craziness to think that is remotely possible is mind boggling.
