Sept F5J Contest -- Pilots and Volunteers Needed

September 14-15 is our Dave Murphy Memorial F5J contest -- part of the F5J USA Tour. Tim Ellis and I are seeking volunteers to help out. Not only do you get to help with this exciting club event, you also get free lunches.

We are looking for pilots. Shortly we will set up pilot registration at: http://www.f5j-usa.com/calendar/

I will be out Thursdays and Fridays at Brigantino if anyone wants to see how F5J is done. Any electric soaring plane 4 meters or less and under 5 kg (about 11 lbs.) is able to compete. Even inexpensive Radians can do well. You do need a F5J altitude/time limiter. I use both the RC Multi 3 and the ArobTec Altis and can help set these up. They are available here:
All at SoaringUSA https://www.soaringusa.com/F5J-ALES-GPS/

All Altis at Flight Comp https://flightcomp.com/collections/altitude-devices-gps

Altis Nano at Aloft Hobbies https://alofthobbies.com/aerobtec-altis-nano.html
Hope to see you there,

Don
