Question

Remo Hobby 1/16 Rocket Upgrades?

hopful u watch this video first to understand what im looking for in upgrades if there r ones i can go for this truck. but as u can see in the video this SCT is pushing what is a live size Kongou from a anime called Arpeggio of Blue Steel. im looking into geting a brushless motor and ESC upgrade to this SCT but idk if i should go for the one Remo has for this SCT or go for something else. my father was saying i should also chance the gearing on the SCT for more torque then speed witch is something i know i want to do but idk what gears i should or even if there gears i can get for that. thats why im making this post on here in hopes someone can point me to the stuff i should get.

Born again RC'er
I did a lot of work with my Rocket. It started as a kit (no electrics) and I put a 2040 4800kv burshless in it, oil shocks, and decent tires. It is still uncontrollable, and a not fun way. When I get to half throttle, the truck swaps ends. Even with the gyro on in my TS4G/RC4G radio, I can't get it up to speed.

I feel the issue is the wheel base is shorter than the track width. Also, the steering won't center, no matter how much I tweek the links...

If I set my endpoints to limit throttle to 50%, it is a fun truck.

10-15 pounds is pretty heavy for a small car like a 1/16. It would need something bigger with a bigger motor with more torque.

ya thats what im thinking for right now i ended up modding a toy grade car from new bright to do the job with the Remo Hobby car parts. the only thing know is i want to get a 5000mAh batt so i can have a longer run time. the thing is idk if geting a lipo like that will blow up the remo ESC . i also made a 5min video going over what i ended up doing to get this to work
