Got the right wing mostly done.
Itís been awhile since Iíve worked on a bent wing and one this light. I think Iím lacking some of the finesse required. Not so nice and easy today .

The wood in this kit overall is okay or so so.
The fuse came out at 2.2oz.
I swapped out a sheet of 1/16 because it was junk and a 1/4 stick, it had a 90* twist. The ribs are pretty bad, die crushed and heavy, kinda normal for this type of kit.

Thanks
Iíve been ignoring the yard work and falling behind on my honey doís.
I can feel a disturbance in the force coming soon.
No work today, spent the day flying at Torrey Pines. It was a good day!

Continue building and flying, and ignore the yard and honey do's. The slap will most likely come.

A Skeeter is in my kit collection. I think I caught it on sale from Tower for $14.95 in 1998 or '99. I'll probably use the kit as templates for new parts. I have mixed emotions about posting the plans and parts templates. I feel a loyalty to Mark Smith for all the great designs he's cranked out but a great disdain for the former Great Planes companies for the way they swallowed up and shelved so many great kit designs from many companies.

The shoulders have seen better days so I'll use a zip start for it.

Thanks Al.
Iím trying to decide what to do with the tail group. Cut holes or build up, maybe enlarge it a little?
Itís a small thing, but I get hung up on stuff like this.

Nice work!

Scott If itís not to late I would build a split rudder for more control!
I had one I built a long time ago and was bummed that it was so lazy on rudder authority.
I know your awesome/ great flying style and donít want you to be disappointed so if you can or want to take my advice modify that rudder for more control lol !
Looking good and best regards!!
