When is the cutoff date for entry? Trying to firm up my schedule to attend this year.

Also, the modified ALES over the weekend, will that have a restriction to fly the winch line heading until motor cut off?

I believe your T-shirt order will have to be in by Friday 9/27. Discounted online entries have to be paid by 10/4, but you can sign up in person at the field on Friday for the normal entry fee (which is a few bucks more).

Yes, ALES will need to launch parallel to winch lines (left of lane #1 or right of lane #4) depending which way you will turn after motor-off to minimize launch delays.

CORRECTION: T-Shirt orders have to be received by this Thursday, 9/19 so that we can place the order by 9/20.

So get your orders in ASAP...

OK, I'm coming to Visalia. I was stuck trying to decide between this, the largest RC soaring contest in the country, and the F3J Team Selects. Too bad they were scheduled on the same weekend.

Glad you made the right decision!

Too bad other contests are continually being scheduled on the first full weekend of October, despite the fact that everyone knows that the FSF is always scheduled on that date. In the past the IHLGF and F5J contests overlapped. This year the F3RES in ABQ and F3J Team Selects...

No wonder attendance is down at contests, as we are shooting ourselves in the foot over and over...

Hi Joe,FYI we are making sure from now on that Fall Fest gets wide F5J Tour calendar spacing. Sorry about last year's Tour event being a week before FF.

Please sign up online as it makes it a lot easier for us to set you up in the scoring program, etc. - You'll still need to sign in at the contest on either Friday PM or Saturday AM. Candy only to the first 30...
