Right below the air unit. well see if it fits, Im waiting for my stack to come in. It uses a 20mm adapter board.

Looks great! Can you post a picture of how you mounted your antennas? I'm still struggling with that on my Marmotte. This is how I have mine currently but it's not a perfect fit as the MMCX connectors are very slightly stressed. I could probably file the stock holes in the upper plate to make this a non-issue.

I'm concerned that on the ImpulseRC APEX frame you would get the standoffs / upper chassis plate in the HD shot from the Air Unit.

Impulse RC just released info on their new Apex frame. It comes in a DJI Digital HD variant, which is customized to hold the air unit. Looks damn nice, even has a custom-molded antenna mount for the air unit. Can't wait.

That looks nice but it looks like its going to be very rear biased with weight. I have my Air Unit in the middle of my Glide and I still have to have the lipo about 1/4 inch forward to get neutral. And that's with a light weight 20x20 stack in the rear.

I like how my Glide is working but I would like a frame that I can put the 4in1 and Air Unit in the center and have my FC in the rear.

stick a gopro on the front and you're balanced. My current set up has mine in the back like that too, takes a little getting used to but seems to fly just fine. Nice looking frame, but doubt I'll be buying one of those frames though...

For those of you that are changing flight controllers for this and/or don't want to solder, newbeedrone has a plug in play option available from their site.

https://newbeedrone.com/products/dji...0-stack-bundle

Don't know much about it, just saw on their website. I'm not getting it, as I use my current set ups, but sharing just in case anyone is interested....

edit: I'm just using one of these step down regulators to run 6s with my current FC's, but guess that's what NBD is boasting with their stack...can handle 6s with air unit

You can move the FC anywhere and it won't make any difference in flight, just might make wiring up ESCs more difficult depending on the frame.

How does the DJI system work with transmission power levels, can you set it to 25/200/400/700 or whatever?

I like how that we have already several options of frames and FC..
But all these frames are so heavy!

25 and 700 at the current time but maybe a fw update changes that..only speculation

Really? How is anyone going to fly with other people?

25 is way to low for freestyle around anything, and 700 will stomp on anyone nearby.
