With the demand for further extending the legacy of the Horus Series Transmitters, the Horus X10/S Express version was born. With many new updates like applying the ACCESS protocol and hardware tweaks.

Horus X10/S Express use the ACCESS communication protocol, it boasts 24 channels with a faster baud rate and lower latency equipped with a high-speed module digital interface. Along with the new spectrum analysis function and added FrOS/OpenTX firmware, it is now possible to check the airwaves for RF noise.

Both X10 and X10S Express support balancing charge for 2S Li-ion battery via a collateral USB cable. The accessible battery compartment design is another change worth mentioning, with two 18650 Li-ion batteries you can expect to be able to fly all day. what is a collateral USB cable?

Is it possible to upgrade an X10S? Will there be a separate Sparepart which makes that possible?

Andrea, I have two Horus 10 and two Horus 12 , I just picked up my first ACCESS taranis lite, now my question is will I be able to upgrade my two X10 to full ACCESS

Yes, you will be able to upgrade your both X10s with an upgraded internal module for getting the full ACCESS functions, but this module will still take some time.

We are now mainly working on the firmware (FrOS/OpenTX) for the original X10/S which will be compatible with this module (the same module as Express), and estimate the firmware will be available in Septemeber.

And will also have a PARA wireless module on sale together.

Some X12S are already running today with the iXJT module of an X10. I believe you will be able to do the same. If not with FrOS, at least with OTX.

Hi,
I have received my X10S express today and I see a big problem : when I plug the USB connector to charge the battery of the radio when the radio is swiched off, the external HF module IS POWERED ON !

It's looks like it's a known problem .

Is there somebody having some info on this problem ?
Is it a design failure ?
Is there a solution to avoid it ?

Answer: Frsky sent me an autoupdate.frsk file to fix this problem
