Question

How to prep fiberglass for paint?

I bought a cowl and wheel pants from Fiberglass Specialties a few years ago and am just getting around to finishing them, but lost the included instruction sheet. What's the best way to clean the raw product before prepping for paint? I think cleaning with naphtha was recommended but can't recall. Will acetone work?
Thanks.

Wash it with soap and water at lease 4 times. Scrub with a scotch brite pad and soap and water. Wipe down with wax and grease remover and paint.
