Turnigy Thrust Test Stand V3

Tried ordering this from HobbyKing, TWICE. Both times my order was canceled for whatever reason I'll never know. I've read similar tales elsewhere. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Some guys swear by them. Turnigy's no help either. They're still out of stock in the U.S. warehouse, with no known ETA. I may convert my home-made nitro stand to electric. Not as pretty as that V3, though. George

It is out of stock in the U.S. warehouse of HobbyKing. Could sign up for alert when back in stock.
How about this one from Banggood, same thing just different label. I have had excellent results with other Racerstar products.

Got in my Racerstar version of the Turnigy test stand. You're right about being the same thing with different branding. It's very nice. I'm new to electrics, so this maybe a dumb question. There's no bolts for attaching motors. Is this something that should have been bought when I got the motor? It's a small Hacker for a park flyer. Thank again, George

Glad to have been of help. Some sellers provide with the motor also the mounting screws, some even accessories like these , some nothing. If nothing came with the motor you will need to get bolts to fix it to the stand, but pay attention to the length: it should not be longer than stand thickness plus 3 or 4 mm depending from the motor, this because if it is too long will spoil the cupper coil inside make motor unusable.

Thanks Venezia,
I got the V3 in the other day, and opened it up, expecting to see an internal 3V battery holder that is listed in the specifications. There's no place for any battery that I can see. Just computer chips. I hope that it will come to life with the motor battery, which is my next step. No one seems to have reviewed this latest version on you tube. George
