Does this mean that current R9 Mini and R9MM even with ACCESS firmware have no OTA updates enabled?

I hope it's not like this..

Yes, FrSky previously announced that OTA would only come with new hardware. Not enough memory on old stuff.

So we could assume that the existing rx's that have been pushed to access by user firmware upgrades (rxsr, xm+ etc) won't be ota compatible.

R9m Lite Pro has received the goods, but the insertion of x-lite-pro can not be used on frequency. Should be no corresponding firmware, in the frsky official website can not find firmware, trouble frsky technicians see me send a firmware download address!

The LBT firmware isn't available yet. Please pay attention to the product page update, thanks for your understanding.

The problem has been solved temporarily. We hope to improve the firmware of remote controller and R9m Lite Pro as soon as possible.

Hi there!
I'm about to start with my first build and i just got lost with this new stuff. When i bought my X-Lite (No pro) it comes with the R9 Lite module, hence i bought a R9MM for use it. But, how can i update my receiver if i can't do it Over the air? My receiver didn't came with any cables or stuff to connect it to my TX, just two set of pins which i have no idea what do do with them (Picture attached).
I'll appreciate your help and insights. Thank you.

The R9MM is made to be as small as possible, meaning you DIY and solder any cables/connectors you might want or need. To update firmware you need to wire up -/+/S-port to the s-port connector on the radio.

868 MHz antenna

@ Andrea from Frsky: Could you encourage vendors like Banggood to sell frsky r9 receivers and modules with the option to choose between 915 MHz and 868 MHz? Otherwise here in Europe we have to buy the 915 MHz version and buy a separate 868 MHz antenna which is kind of annoying. I know this is already the case with the newest r9 ota receivers but not with the other stuff like this r9m lite pro set.

And the new X9D 2019 edition? will be a new full size module available?

R9M Lite Pro and original X-Lite

Just wanted mention it here because I have been wondering for a while. R9M Lite Pro works with the original X-lite on optentx 2.3 nightlies. I confirmed this myself.

What does this mean?

If you run R9 with the original X-lite, you don't need to upgrade to X-lite pro to get all the R9M Lite Pro/ACCESS goodness. It even has the spectrum analyzer tool!

Cheers!
