I can’t tell what radio it is in that video. It kinda looks like a dx 18?

There's some discussion in the iX12 thread.

It was definitely leaked in that video, that's not a DX18. The iX20 seems to draw on the DX18 for some ergonomic aspects, the overall size is reminiscent and the sliders are on the rear sides rather than the back like the DX9/20/iX12 case design.

It's not been announced though, but is one of several upcoming products from Spetrum on fccid.io

Other notable aspects:

New SoC, possibly a Rockchip 3288, which is significantly faster than the Allwinner A33 in the iX12, and the channel processor is now an STM32 variant at 100MHz (vs an NXP on all older designs except the DXe)

It adds 2 extra trimmers on the shoulder and 2 extra 3-pos switches to the control layout, the first time additional inputs have been added since to a handheld Spektrum TX since the DX18G1 debuted. It also appears to get a new 8 pin serial interface (vs 4 pin on the iX12), a rear camera, no included charger (USB charge only), but a larger 10,500mAh 1s pack (vs 6000mAh on the iX12)

It's actually 8 pins on the iX12 as well. Nothing different there.

It's real. But nothing officially released. But it'll be hard to get me to let go of my dx20

And lets hope the speaker is much louder because flying jets I can barely hear my ix12. I was also expecting some quad bearing CNC gimbals like those on the dx20. Would make it feel real high end with those gimbals. I also hope spektrum will also change something the "spektrum" logo on the antenna stub. Maybe try the lettering vertically

Looks a lot better than sideways like they have done. And yes I hope a much better processor and newer version of android OS something that isn't left over from 2010 lol, Just my 2cents.

I haven't read the manual yet or looked at specs, but I'm hoping with no metal gimbals and no included case etc etc, that it's gonna come in cheaper than we think.

I'm kinda willing to put my money it will be around a DX18 kinda price that was around £800 here in the UK on the last batch I believe, but that may just be me being optimistic.

I really want the IX20 already, but looks a tad large for me to grip for dlg use. But I will take a VERY close look at one once they are out, very tempted.

The big turn off for me of the Dx18 and 20 is the size.

While it took me a year, my IX12 finally replaced my trusty DX9 as my radio I always use.

Daylight readability and speaker volume are my only real gripes for the iX12.

Of course all I actually wanted in a new radio was color and the touch screen.

The android OS still is not really all that useful to me. Maybe it makes development easier but my user experience is not better.

I like my iX12 but it is not perfect.

I too hope the new flagship has better gimbals , can be read outside, is louder (not distorted) and not too big (heavy.)

I like my IX12 but the time it takes to boot up is ridiculous, I hope they have improved this on the IX20. I doubt I will buy the 20 because of this issue. I love the touch screen and the ease of use there but at the field it is a hassle waiting for it to come on.
