I'm not as bad as they say.
We're off like a herd of turtles.
Reese, Reese and Jay are traveling today, will be in Budapest tomorrow.
The Haugh's are already libating in Budapest.
Everyone else departs tomorrow for mostly a Morning arrival in Budapest on Wednesday.
Party of 14.....
Our B&B is about an hour from the airport, that being about 25 minutes from the field.
Alternate news might show up here:
https://www.facebook.com/UsaF3kTeam/

There are 87 Seniors and about 25 Juniors (8 full teams of juniors). 12 Seniors into the flyoffs, 8 juniors for individual champions.
15 Rounds of preliminaries, 8 rounds of 12 seniors, 3 rounds of juniors.
Flyoffs Saturday.

We have an experienced team, Noah and Owen are multi-time competitors at WC level. Toby is a multi-time competitor. Mickey and Scott are multi-time managers.

One of the biggest challenges at WC is only flying 15 flights over 5 days, with essentially no practice time and no warmup time, just your 3 minutes before your round. It's difficult to stay focused and be instantly "on" when your round comes up. With 11 heats, a pilot might not fly for 4 hours (If you fly A, then G, then there are 17 heats, at ~4 heats per hour. between them).

I'm not as bad as they say.
Tip: just put models in the model box and they won't open it.
The bullet weights in your carry on are another story. I can hear Shantz laughing from here.

The adventure begins. One last meal in Nashville for free Chic-Fil-A on cow appreciations day and then to the airport. Check in went smooth and they even waived the $100 extra baggage fee. Waiting to get on the plane now.

Glad to hear you guys made it over the pond safe and sound (and models too).

Good job on Tobey for snatching that extra legroom seat!

Good luck to you all! You can do it!
