24 foot Pink Floyd- thread 3

Here's thread #3 of this:

Thread 1: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/show...45&page=1&pp=15

Thread 2: https://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=315088

Let's not spend the first 10 pages of this thread arguing about how to subscribe. If you want to post, great! I enjoy reading the posts, even if all they say is 'subscribed'. It shows interest in my project. If you'd like to keep the thread cleaner, go to the of the page and click on 'thread tools' and you'll see 'subscribe to this thread'.

You do realise that you don't have to post to subscribe to a thread. Just select subscribe from the thread tools drop down that is at the top of each thread.

I made a LOT of progress last night. Sheeted the top surface of a wing, installed about 14 fuselage bulkheads, finished the middle wing spar...

Hans,
I might be swinging down to mad-town sometime in March to party with some friends. I will deffinately need to stop by the dorm and see the progress made. By mid-March you should be nearing completion I assume. -Patrick

Subscribed... Good luck Hans.

Also, I think everyone needs to keep in mind that although there is so much controversy as to whether she will get off the ground, it's really all about the fun involved. I'd say it looks pretty damn cool it just being built. And just look how much it has brought the R/C community together, people suggesting, businesses sponsoring.

Hans, this is about more than just a big plane... you've done an awesome thing, mate.

Wow... That's over 1,000 posts!

How are you planning to build the tail surfaces? Like the wing?

Good luck!

Yes, the tail surfaces will be built up with a spar and ribs, just like the wing.
