This is the new Edge available at Soaring USA. I will be doing a write-up on it shortly I just want to get the pictures for now

give us more deats!! AR, construction <expected AUW, whats the deal with the adjustable incidence?? saw THREE servos in the fuse,,,, gimmick??? airfoil used?? 4piece wing???

Looks interesting. Is it possible that both the stabilizer articulates as well as the elevator... 3rd servo

4 piece wing solid core. All the surface linkages already pre-installed from the factory.I got 6110 Mks for the wing.The model come out to 45 oz auw.

Sensoar...yes, the entire stab’ moves (changes incidence) as well as having elevator movement.

Are you really going with only a glue joint between the wire push-rod ends and the carbon push-rods, looks like a real easy failure point to me. If the wire flexes at all it will peel away the joint.
I would at least bind them with twine or wire (during the gluing process) as is common practice in decades of model building.

how do you set up your radio to use the double elevator setup ?

Another Edge in the sky


I just finished mine up and have had two short flying sessions on it. It has been too windy to really fine tune and evaluate, but so far I like it. My buddy Dale has one also and we built them basically in parallel, though he finished first and did a lot of helping with mine. Thank you Dale. We will post many more detailed pictures soon. Any questions, just ask.
