OK, I think I'm up to date on the Builder's List. All of you taking part please check and if there's a link to your build thread click on it to be sure it goes to the right place. And if I missed anything please hit me over the head with it right here.
I love the mix of simple and complex. Certainly a good example of what we tended to dive into when we were young and easily led astray.... I'm going to jump in with this one but I'm not sure yet just what it will be. |

Bruce,
If not to late To enter, would like to build a Carl Goldberg Junior Falcon. My first successful RC flight was with a Junior Falcon with a Cox 049 and a Controlaire Digit Midget in the summer of 1969. Jim Zare |

Jim, the Jr Falcon has been much on my own mind. It was my first RC model and on rudder only with an old Sterling Command Master radio.
Knowing what I know now about RO flying the poor model was in great trim and was doing its darndest to give me a fighting chance. But too little knowledge and youth conspired against the great model and it planted itself into the roof of a nearby commercial building and broke up pretty badly. It would be a lot of fun to go back and relive that model. RO controls and all. But this time with electric power... which is almost like having an elevator.... but still. Perhaps we should do a side by side "tag team" build? |

Junior Falcon 2019
I am going to build mine with full house ailerons, rudder, elevator and speed control with a park 340 size motor using an up to date plan and laser cut parts from Bob Holman. I have vac form molds for the canopy. If we can find a vacuum former we could get some made.

Scientific Big Otto
Bruce,
Against my better judgement, and flying in the face of my inability to get my SFV entry even started, I'd like to throw my hat over the fence with Walter Musciano's Big Otto 1/2A control line combat model. In my defence, I've actually committed construction already, so there are at least a few sticks glued together this time! Steve |

Hello Bruce and all,
I plan to enter the EAR build I have built (with my mother) a rubber model when I was 10 or so. It was a kit ( I don't remember the name) with a square fuselage , simple diedral, rectangular plan form for the wing (all the ribs where the same) and two wheels and covering by japanese paper. That all I remember! So I have found the plan of a model with some resemblance; file attached. If that is possible I want to built a Wakefield : the "PAPO-UL from a good modeler of that erea (1953) Henri Aribaud. He lived not to far from me. He has been French champ in that time. Regards GUY |

Uram, my apologies for not responding earlier. I saw your post above about a week ago while on my tablet and staying at a friend's place. I hate typing on the tablet so thought I'd get caught up when I got home. But then I totally forgot.
You're on the list now though. And once you get a build thread started let me know and I'll add the link to the build thread. |
