Ahh, I see. Did you inset the last but one crossbrace that the stringer passes over? That achieves the same thing. Difficult to tell on my phone...

Yep, if you look at the plan you can see that old Albert had it covered - "This cross brace inset 1/16 inch" - or in the case of the Colonel's double size one that'll be 1/8". So I am sure with his well known attention to detail he did just that!

Oh come on now Colonel - is that your round about way of telling us you didn't see/act upon St. Albert's instructions??? Tsk tsk!

Mind you, if the failing memory serves me right, I didn't on the first one I built - but I was only seven at the time!

She's shaping up nicely, CB. One tends to forget the hours spent once it starts to come together. Good Stuff.

Zzzzzzzzzzzz..........eh....wha?

Soz an' all, been having a dose of real life recently...... Time I have had has been spent making up the leads to go from Rx to the empennage - I'm hoping I can control all 4 servos with a total of 5 wires, but as I need to incorporate a servo reverser for one of the elevator servos, that plan may all come to nought.

I have also begun cutting some rather large (to me) wing ribs, which consume sheet balsa at an astounding rate. I have also drawn up a new Balsa Cabin order which I shall submit next week (and end up a ton and a half lighter in the wallet)......

Steady away, steady away......

So Gary - have you started that Eddie Riding Widgeon yet?
