Ooo, I like the specs, but agree with the whoop style frame. Although, I can see a lot of people using it for proximity shots, and even indoor things, so the ducts do make sense. I'm sure they'll release an open prop version, akin to the toothpick frames or something, very shortly after release.

Hmm, looks a bit sketchy,
66g and 1103 motors and 300mah 3s all seem a bit small form the weight , defo won't be very fast or agile but it's a cinewhoop ....
The beta85x has 1105 motors and they don't stay cool...450mah 3s on that gets 5 minutes.
Not really seen any good video shown from the tarsier camera yet or how good the live image is.
You getting one merch?

Not that interested in the quad itself, but the flightcontroller is interesting, seems to be in direct competition to the GEPRC/BETAFPV 12a AIO, but this one also has a receiver (be it a crappy one).
Could be nice for toothpick builds.

Yeah the whoops are getting a bit boring now lol especially the cinewhoops which are just too heavy to be fun, they are more for making movies.

Now that summer is "sort of" here in the UK I'm getting out with bigger stuff and even my gliders got a look in yesterday testing out the Hawkeye V2 camera.

Funny you say about the firefly 2 i have been testing it for a review and used on the same day as you but the winds here were around 15+mph

Was windy here too but winds were coming from the east which is good for glider ,
Flew it again in slightly less winds of 10 to 20 and I like the camera but I got some fogging issues which I think are simply due to temperature changes and I need to leave the camera outside a bit before flying.
Gives a pretty nice picture though.
hawkey firefly 2 camera on glider VOLUME ALERT midday flight (12 min 40 sec)

Sorry for off topic, just delete this post if you want, I won't be offended.
