The FOV and the resolution looks a bit low. I think that the price has to be good to justify this product. The market is really competitive today on middle price product and I think that Fatshark cannot style rely only on his name.

At getFPV they're listed for $300, which seems like a great deal at that price.

That sounds like a false economy.

I got the V4's at an intro price so been using them basically since they came out. The knock on them was always no-diversity(solved) and you couldn't upgrade the module to one of the popular diversity modules at all or without modding the goggles because of the curve of the module bay. The pic looks identical to the V4's and I'm pretty sure the OLED module is what's in mine. Probably most people won't care and say just get the DOM's or the HDO's but I'll at least be interested to see if the RX can be easily upgraded. I'm betting not.

I like these and considering buying them. The low resolution specs bothers me and I may just pass on these but I am truly interested in them .

Hmmm they are selling for ~$500 in Australia, but you can get a pair of HD3s here bundled with a Furious True-D V3.5 module for around $650... I look forward to more user reviews as I wonder if it would still be better to spend the extra and get the HD3 bundle.

Edit: these V5s aren't 4:3 at all - the image is stretched horizontally. Less interested now...

too bad they aren't doing wider IPD
I really like the idea of the format. slightly wider than 4:3, but nowhere near 16:9.

Banggood says "Processing time:Expected on July 30, 2019"

Not much information. That is the only estimate I can find. Take it for what it is worth.

Thanks! GetFPV told me early July, so I'll hope for that.

If you watch JB's review of these goggles, I got the same Odec 3.7 V Li-ion's he's got in the review, got them off Amazon. Had them probably year and a half and still fly all weekend long on one charge(15-20 lipo's). I'm sure there is better but I'm happy with them. Make sure to get the flathead.

thanks, so they are 18650 batteries (flat head without protection). I've never used these batteries so far, so I can't really tell their capacity or quality. How many mAh need?

Odec from amazon.it/.com seems not available, so I can bought other? the first indicates 3.7v, the other two Samsung 3.6
