Sorry, I don't see the need for a gigantic vehicle to do FPV. I had my 10428-B out last evening and it was just fine for what I want to do. I only have a cheap all-in-one camera on mine and that is good enough too. If anything large is required, buy a dash cam and drive around!

Well, in my opinion bigger is better! It goes over the obstacles more easily than a smaller car!

And it gets more attention! Probably!

However, get a 1/28 scale P929 and try the same as with your 10428! Maybe you will see the difference!

Many of us have FPVed 1/24 scale crawlers.

I think 1/2 of what you're paying is for the ultra-sophisticated body. Does an RC anything need the opening doors, hood and rear gate?

You are right!

But some like detailed bodys for scale, or super scale driving.

They are putting little dolls on the driving seat, connect one arm to the steering wheel which even spins while steering. Or similar stuff!

I saw Steves video on this, it actually looks pretty cool. I'm still getting the Kanyon though. Funnily enough, it's cheaper to buy the FTX from Modelsports in UK than to buy the OEM version from Banggood.

Ah, but we UK buyers get free delivery which, given the size of the Kanyon, is not to be sneezed at.
Mine arrives today (allegedly)

For me, I can order the FTX from Modelsport and have it shipped to Sweden for the price of only the vehicle from Banggood. I just got myself a new quad so no more RC's for at least a couple of months.

Man, this hobby is strangely addictive.
