Willy Wiley 36 engine????


Anybody have any info on the Willy Wiley 36 combat motors???

How many may have been built & when were they produced??

Durable??

Powerful???

Any new ones or like new still available???

Looking for one for my collection

They were durable and reliable. Were never quite as powerful as a Nelson, and they required standard glow plugs. Many folks ran them in stunt. I ran a few in combat. I have some in my collection in including his latest "Willy Nelson" I'm running a couple now on my speed limit WWII models.

The Wiley engines were also used successfully in carrier.

Did Willy Wiley ever make any other displacements other than .36 ?? Did the FF guys try to convert one to .29 or .41 ??
Was there ever a .40 Pylon version??
