Long Term Storage

I have been told that LiPo batteries should be stored long term at storage voltage of course, but also in a cooler environment such as a refrigerator. Is this correct?
Thanks,

Yes that is correct. But you don't have to go to the extreme of a refrigerator. A cool basement will do.

50-55 deg F is ideal
You can buy a small solid state refrigerator / wine cooler and dedicate it to battery storage
