Where Is The Micro T-28 Trojan S Thread???

I'm having a hard time finding the T-28 Trojan S Thread. This is on sale ($10 off) and I was thinking about picking one up. Can anyone help please?

Thanks in advance!

You won't regret buying one! I did last year as an entry into low wing fighter type planes...I love it,great little flyer! After a few flights I had the nerve to maiden my P-51.

Yep, years after the first release of the UMX T-28 and I'm still flying one. A wonderful little plane I enjoy flying in calm winds. Just a great little flyer for doing slow-and-low flybys.

Awesome, thanks guys for your help and feedback! My LHS has a bigger discount if I spend $100 so I'm gonna pick this plane up from them as they said they have it in stock! I ordered some 250mAh lipos yesterday to make it fly longer and I'm gonna order an extra prop. Over to the forum I go...

Thanks again jimjim06 for the link!

Yeah ,I'm getting about 6 min. max out of 150 mAh/ 45c battery's....and about the only time I use full throttle is for hand launching ,and the occasional loop! Haven't tried the 200 mAh battery in the little T-28. Hope it won't make it too nose heavy. I do fly them in my Sport Cub and P-51 " Meg" though.

I fly my T-28 with Hyperion G5 240 mAh lipos and love it. Just make sure you get the CG set to your flying preference. I do low-and-slow flybys with the 240 set-up and the little T-28 virtually crawls through the air as I fly it by, close enough to touch. It's lots of fun for touch-and-goes, too. I love flying mine in very calm conditions.

I mainly fly with one of the E-flite 200mah 1S batteries (I think it came with my FPV Inductrix). I went out a few nights ago and flew for 6 minutes of mainly 50% throttle (but like you, a few little bursts just for fun). Came down at 3.86v on the battery, so I had another 2-3 minutes in there easily if I wanted to keep going. No issues at all with being nose heavy, so if you're looking for a little more flight time, these batteries will work well.

A great little plane to modify too. Tons of fun and easy packing in the camper for the get-a-ways. Seems like I can always find room somewhere to fly a 1S plane.

Goodness, that looks awesome Larry!

Well, it's halfway into 2019...when will we see retracts in these micro planes!?

Lol, true! But post #12 above shows it's already been done. Would love for this to become standard with the Micros but maybe it would add too much weight?

And peppersam...that T-28 looks great too! Awesome detail!

P.S. And then there is the P-47 with retracts! NICE!!!
