No 1 meter or Deuce

Sorry folks,

but I have to cancel Friday's 1 meter contest and The Deuce for personal reasons. I won't return from a trip until Wednesday evening, and will be scrambling to get everything lined up for the big event.

The field will be available on Friday after 10 am, or whenever the porta potty shows up, and the company we use has been quite reliable.

Plan to fly a couple of impromptu AULD rounds Friday afternoon. The winner gets a Margarita, and so does everyone else!

Cheers, CD Charles

Just make sure the batteries still work - looking forward to seeing you and the others from out-of-state in Eloy!

Only one month + change to go ....

Very good - it's been too long!

If Toby signs up, then we'll have the entire Southwest represented.

Self Scoring

Please check out post #4, which has been updated to include information on self scoring in the F3xVault.

Bottom line: We will not have a dedicated scorekeeper, and if I'm the only one entering scores, then you'll have to wait.

We can make this a communal effort, and all you need is a cell phone. Or your friend's, it doesn't matter.

Anyone with a phone can enter their own scores or someone else's in the Vault, and it only takes 30 seconds.

You have to be logged into the Vault to enter a score.

We'll have a show & tell at the morning meeting.

Thanks in advance - Charles

P.S.: Please find a way to remember your Vault login password

Charles,

Clif and myself will be getting to the field Thursday night. Will your cool little sign be up by then?

I'll place the same sign as last year with an arrow indicating the turn-off from Toltec Road.

Heading south on Toltec, you'll pass a 50 mph speed sign about 50 yards before you turn off into the dirt road.

Exit the pavement and head west through the dirt at these approximate coordinates:

32 41' 51.7" N
111 37' 13.5" W

The field will be marked with 4 large red cones, and I'll show up on Friday morning for the Porta Potty delivery.

You can park your rig approximately here:

32 41' 54.8" N
111 37' 53.6" W

There will be cotton fields to the south and to the west. If cotton balls start cluttering your windshield, then you've gone too far ...

Cheers, Charles
