Solutions for problems that donít exist IMO. Any commercial pilot worth his weight already knows to yield to man aircraft.

But yet it's not designed just for commercial pilots. It will be in all dji drones starting Jan 1 2020. Also the new FAA regs will require every flyer to pass a basic rules test and to carry that test certificate with them

Itís a step towards adsb transmission in either direction. And to be honest may sell a lot of drones when FAA makes it mandatory in drones. Which Iím guessing is also coming in our future.

This is really good news and just the start as electronic perspicuity is a complex issue.

DJI are following on from ProfiCNC who also announced that every Cube Autopilot as standard in a few months with also have ADS-B IN built in, Air Sense is now putting DJI in the same boat and itís good but ADS-B alone is not the overall solution.

For starters not all manned aviation has it and secondly as we head toward UTM and FINS systems that are inevitably going to happen ADS-B Out is far from the perfect solution, itís a 20yo system very much spoofable and not open ether.

There needs to be a better solution if everyone is going to be forced to ping their location and ID that ADS-B thatís for sure.
