You're cutting a lot of people out of this poll, as some good brands are not listed and there isn't even an "other" category.

Can you add some other manufacturers or an "other" option.

PolyQuest also has good LiPo's.

The most important thing is to get packs that have taps for balancing.

What happened to the new TP Pro Lite packs? I have seen them discussed but none are for sale anyplace.

Polyquest/Irate for me, with Tanic Apogee and TP in second place tied.

Kokam last.

Of course the first amd last don't feature in your list, so I can't vote.

It takes someone with years of experience in a field to ask the right questions .

What color vehicle do you prefer?

I would be more concerned if it were a car, truck,SUV ,new used, Ford, Chev, BMW, etc..

I bet some use more than one brand due to pack shapes, weights and C ratings for a size range. Then there is always, taps,no taps. warranty, etc.

Me neither. Some of the new Chinese cells are good buys.

I like my Kokams the best because thats all I have. I hear most others are better in one aspect or the other.
Every time I read these threads I change my mind on what to try next. Now "vintage1" has me curious about Polyquest because I respect his opinion.

Thereís no way I could vote, there are just too many variables and good companies. And I donít have a brand loyal bone in my body.

My experience with the brands mentioned is limited to Tanic and Thunder Power. I also have other cells that arenít on the list.

Watching the forum Iíve seen what the Thunder Powers support policy is like, and it is excellent!

I talked to Brian (Tanic) when I ďthoughĒ I may have a problem with one of his packs and his response was immediate and gracious, even when it turned out that it wasnít even a problem in the end!

I think all the better packs work just fine if used in their intended application.

Iíve found through the years itís cheaper in the long run to stick with companies that stand behind their products and deliver what they advertise.
Iíll gladly pay a little more if I know Iím going to consistently receive a working product with great support.

For me, itís cheaper to buy a $50.00 battery with great replacement support than to eat a $30 battery that didnít work as advertised, and no support.

Be it autos, batteries, or refrigerators, people tend to favor what they have. Like to think they made the right choice. Unless, of course, they got a lemon.

I wouldn't say Ployquest are the best technbically - bit for the money, they are hard to beat.

I don't go looking for ultimate power to weight - energy density and cost and reliability are what I want, for sport flying.

TP's are well thought of, but too expensive. Other people swear by Tanics and apogees, but they are also expensive mostly.

It pays to shop around.

The newer E-techs also seem good value for money, though not seen many report of them.
