Does anyone ever want....."more sensitivity around neutral" ?

That is to say, on a Futaba brand transmitter, does anyone set up exponential as a 'positive" number. On my 9C, the value can go from +100 to -100 for exponential and if we only ever use -ve, whay the positive part of the range ?

Just curious if it is ever used, perhaps for helis or sailplanes....?

Your thoughts...

Expo is built into my thumbs

I never use expo on any of my planes. I hate the muddy sluggish feel of it. The Fonz I did dial in some negative expo on my eflite blade msr on the rudder. The tail was way to slow for my taste. The negative expo helped a lot.

Now have a grasp on how and why I would want to change my expo. I have the futaba T8J radio And I had the trim set up and I raise or lower the expo will it effect the trim. Will I now have to trim out my plane again??

Changing expo doesn't affect the trim. Expo adjusts the rate at which the sticks reflect your movement.
